Our 2014 Summer Show: "Sylvia"

Written by A.R. Gurney
Directed by Ken Stevens

"Give a dog a woman's name, you begin to think of her as a woman." Tom, Act I.
What do you get when you cross a couple in mid-life crisis and a stray dog? A love triangle in which the "other woman" is a bitch, literally. Greg needs an escape from the frustrations of his job and the lack of fulfillment in his life. His wife of 22 years, Kate, needs a husband who will support her as her career advances and they move into the next phase of their lives. Sylvia is a stray dog who just needs a home and someone to love. The three battle it out in a witty and delightful look at life, love and relationships.
Sylvia is an endearing comedy that will be performed in the Sponberg Theatre on June 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 at 7pm and June 8 & 15 at 2 pm. Recommended for ages 13+.
